Carey L. Fister was raised in Hampden, Maine and graduated from Hampden Academy.
She earned a B.A. in Biology from Bates College in 1998 then went on to graduate
from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2003. She received
a postdoctoral degree in Pediatric Dentistry from Tufts University School of Dental
Medicine in 2006 and returned to Maine to open her practice with her husband Dr.
Christopher Dorr.
Dr. Fister is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry,
a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Maine Dental Association,
American Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, American Society
of Dental Anesthesiology and a past President of the Penobscot Valley Dental Society.
Carey is a member at the Rock Church and serves in the TRC Kids Ministry with the preschoolers.
She and her husband, Dr. Chris Dorr have four sons, Tyler, Parker, Aaron and Cooper.
Carey is grateful to be back home in Maine and looks forward to meeting your child very soon!
