What to expect during your child’s first visit:
On your first visit, we want to get to know you and your child better, discuss past dental experiences and formulate a treatment plan that will best fit your child’s needs.
When you arrive at our office, we will ask you to complete the appropriate insurance and health information forms.

What happens after the paperwork is done?
You will meet our dental hygienists in the Lion King or Peter Pan/Tinkerbell Room.
Next comes:
- A full, comprehensive exam that includes: growth development, evaluation of bite, tooth spacing and oral habits.
- Tooth Cleaning (Prophy)
- Oral Hygiene instruction for parents and child
- Nutritional Counseling
- Topical Fluoride application
- Diagnostic X-
rays - A special gift for your child from our "Treasure Chest"
To keep our fees as low as possible, we require payment at time of service. For your convenience, we accept cash, personal check, bank debit cards, and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express)
Dr. Fister is a participating provider with Delta Dental insurance. We are OUT OF NETWORK with all other companies.
Patients having Delta Dental will be required to pay their estimated co-
For all other insurance companies, we will gladly assist you with a claim to submit to your insurance company for direct reimbursement to you.
If you have questions regarding the financial aspect of your treatment, please speak with our administrative assistant.
If you have to cancel your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice so we may utilize the time we have reserved especially for you. A $25 fee will be applied for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or missed appointments.
